Method of Crimping the Diamond Wire Saw
Pay attention. This Power Save Master wire saw machine is cutting granite, and its maximum cutting speed for granite reaches 12.3 square meters per hour. It uses the Diamond Wire Saw in my hand. A brand - new diamond wire saw comes in a 50 - meter roll. This is its end, which means it's now a 50 - meter - long line. To make it suitable for cutting on the wire saw machine, we need to coil it first. The specific details of coiling have been introduced in the previous video 'Coiling the Diamond Wire Saw'. Then, connect its two ends with a steel wire connector to form a closed loop. Finally, it can be put on the machine for cutting. In this video, we'll introduce how to crimp the diamond wire saw.
Hello, everyone. I'm Oliver Mo, who manufactures and sells wire saws. To crimp the diamond wire saw, we need the following tools: a steel wire connector and a hydraulic clamp. The method is quite simple:
Strip the injected rubber on the outer surface of the diamond wire saw. Try to scrape off the rubber on the surface with a utility knife as cleanly as possible.
Insert the exposed steel wire rope into the connector to half of its depth. Use the hydraulic clamp to flatten the connector into a regular hexagon.
Coil the rope. After coiling, strip the injected rubber from the other end in the same way, scrape off the rubber on the surface cleanly, then insert the steel wire rope into the other end of the connector, and use the hydraulic clamp to flatten it into a regular hexagon.
In this way, it can be put on the large flywheel of the wire saw machine for stone cutting.
