The use of wire cutters
What you're seeing now is a 75KW Power Save Master wire saw machine cutting a mountain. This time, the cutting area is over 300 square meters, and a 150 - meter - long Diamond Wire Saw is used. The length of the rail for the wire saw machine to move on is 8 meters. Now, the problem arises. When the wire saw machine reaches the end of the rail, but the cutting isn't finished. What should we do? Should we continue to lay the rail backward?
Hello, everyone. I'm Oliver Mo, who manufactures and sells wire saws. Actually, when we encounter this situation, we call it "making the second cut". That is, move the machine to the top of the rail and put the rope on again to make the second cut. At this time, you'll find that the rope is too long. What to do with the long rope? Just cut it short! This is where the protagonist of this video comes in - the wire cutter for the diamond wire saw!

There are some rules for cutting the rope. You can't just pick up the wire cutter and start cutting randomly. Because if you do so, there will be more and more connectors on the cutting rope. More connectors will affect the use of the rope and increase the risk of the rope breaking. We can use the function of the wire saw machine to find the connector, locate the previous connection point, and cut the rope at the connector. For the function of finding the connector on the wire saw machine, please refer to the previous introduction, and I won't go into details here.
After finding the connector, cut along the right edge of the first bead on the right side of the connector, and then cut along the left edge of the first bead on the left side of the connector. In this way, only two beads will be wasted each time, and the cut positions are just suitable for crimping the rope at the connector.
Finally, I'm Oliver Mo, who manufactures and sells wire saws. I hope to be your partner on the stone quarrying journey. If you encounter any problems when buying a wire saw, you can contact me privately. See you in the next video.
