Selection of wire saw machines for stone quarrying
There are many types of stones, commonly including calcium carbonate limestone, travertine, sandstone, granite, diabase, basalt, etc. So, which model of wire saw machine should be selected for quarrying different types of stones?
Hello, everyone. I'm Oliver Mo, who produces and sells wire saw machines. In this video, we'll solve the problem of which model of wire saw machine for stone quarrying is most suitable for your stone quarrying.
Wire saw machines for stone quarrying are mainly divided into two major series: the marble quarrying series and the granite quarrying series. If you're quarrying marble, choose the marble series; similarly, if you're quarrying granite, choose the granite series. Well, isn't this obvious? But what if you're quarrying stones that are neither marble nor granite as mentioned before? That's the focus of this video.
In a previous video, we talked about the hardness of stones, specifically the one about Mohs hardness. If you haven't watched that video, you can look it up. As a wire saw machine manufacturer, we set the Mohs hardness value of 4 as a critical point. For stones with a hardness greater than 4, choose the granite quarrying wire saw machine series; for stones with a hardness less than 4, choose the marble quarrying wire saw machine series.
Next, select the model with the appropriate power according to your situation. The following are the details:
I) Overburden removal and mountain cutting: 75KW
II) Stone block decomposition and dressing in the quarry: 55KW
III) Quarrying of boulders: 45KW or 55KW
IV) Dressing in stone processing plants: 37KW or 45KW
If your usage scenario is not included in the above situations, or if you have any other questions, you can contact me privately. I'll answer them one by one.
Finally, I'm Oliver Mo, who produces and sells wire saw machines. I hope to be your partner on the stone quarrying journey. See you in the next video.
