Consumable Cost of Wire Saw Machine Cutting Granite
This is a quarrying team that makes a living by manually quarrying stones. The workers are quarrying stones by using the method of arranging wedges.
However, with the changing market demand, this quarrying method can no longer meet the market needs. The method of using wire saw machines to cut the bottom of granite is gradually replacing it. But there are still some quarry owners who think that the cost of using wire saw machines to cut granite is too high and are reluctant to accept the wire saw machine quarrying method. In this video, let's figure out how much the consumable cost of using a wire saw machine to cut granite is.
Hello, everyone. I'm Oliver Mo, who manufactures and sells wire saws. The main consumables for a wire saw machine to cut granite include:
aluminum wheel tapes
guide wheels
power flywheels
plugs and sockets
buttons
knobs
etc. Actually, the most important ones are the diamond wire saws and tapes. As long as the latter items are operated and used normally, the probability and cycle of replacement are not high. The price of tapes is not expensive, so we won't consider it here for now. Let's mainly talk about the diamond wire saws, which are at the top of the list of consumable costs.
Usually, when you buy a diamond wire saw, the manufacturer will give you a cutting value. This value is a guaranteed minimum number. Divide your purchase price by this number, and you'll get the unit price of the consumables for the wire saw, that is, the consumable cost for cutting one square meter. Since the divisor is the guaranteed minimum value, not the final actual cutting value, and the actual cutting value is always greater than the guaranteed minimum value, your actual cost is less than the unit price of the consumables you just calculated.
Because there are differences in the stones of each quarry, the amount of silicon in the stones determines the level of wear and tear. If you want to know approximately how much your consumable cost is, you can contact me privately, and I can help you make a free assessment.
Finally, I'm Oliver Mo, who manufactures and sells wire saws. I hope to be your partner on the stone - quarrying journey. If you encounter any problems when buying a wire saw machine, you can contact me privately. See you in the next video.
